  1. Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store, creating a positive and friendly atmosphere.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their purchases and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
  3. Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the store's POS system.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience for customers.
  5. Stay up-to-date on current fashion trends and product knowledge to effectively assist customers with their purchases.
  6. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner, escalating to a manager when necessary.
  7. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and overall store success.
  8. Continuously strive to meet and exceed sales targets and customer service standards.
  9. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to cash handling and loss prevention.
  10. Maintain a positive and professional attitude, representing the Nordstrom brand and values at all times.
  11. Attend training sessions and meetings to stay informed on company updates and improve job performance.
  12. Promote and maintain a safe and secure working environment for both customers and employees.
  13. Assist with merchandising and restocking shelves as needed.
  14. Take initiative to learn and grow within the company, seeking out opportunities for career advancement.

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: A Retail Cashier At Nordstrom Must Have Strong Interpersonal Skills And Be Able To Provide Exceptional Customer Service To Ensure A Positive Shopping Experience For Every Customer.

  • Cash Handling Experience: A Successful Candidate Should Have Experience Handling Cash And Credit Transactions Accurately And Efficiently. This Includes Counting And Verifying Cash, Processing Returns, And Managing A Cash Register Or Pos System.
