Job Description

In this role, you will play a critical role in creating and executing our wash and wovens product strategy, working closely with our design and merchandising teams.   1. Develop and execute the wash and wovens product strategy for Nordstrom, in line with the company's overall product vision and goals.
  2. Collaborate closely with the design and merchandising teams to understand their vision and translate it into high-quality, stylish products that align with the latest fashion trends.
  3. Use your keen eye for detail to ensure that all products meet Nordstrom's high standards of quality and design.
  4. Utilize your strong understanding of garment construction and development to guide the product development process and ensure that all products are feasible for production.
  5. Conduct thorough research on market trends, customer preferences, and competitor offerings to inform product decisions and stay ahead of the competition.
  6. Work closely with vendors and suppliers to source high-quality materials and negotiate cost-effective pricing.
  7. Oversee the entire product development process, from concept to production, ensuring that all deadlines are met and products are delivered on time.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, merchandising, production, and marketing, to ensure a seamless product development and launch process.
  9. Continuously evaluate product performance and make recommendations for improvements or modifications to existing products.
  10. Stay updated on industry developments and fashion trends to continuously improve and innovate Nordstrom's wash and wovens product offerings.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Product Development For A Retail Or Fashion Company.

  • Strong Understanding Of Wash And Wovens Fabric And Production Processes.

  • Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Work Cross-Functionally With Design, Sourcing, And Production Teams.

  • Knowledge Of Industry Trends And A Proven Ability To Translate Market Research Into Successful Product Development Strategies.
