- Develop and implement asset protection strategies and procedures to safeguard the company's physical and financial assets.
- Lead and manage a team of asset protection associates, providing guidance and support to ensure the team's success.
- Conduct regular security audits to identify potential risks and make recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as store operations and human resources, to ensure a safe and secure work environment.
- Train and educate store employees on asset protection policies and procedures.
- Investigate all incidents of theft, fraud, and other security breaches, and take appropriate action to resolve and prevent future occurrences.
- Monitor and analyze store data to identify trends and patterns that may indicate security risks.
- Maintain and update security systems, including video surveillance, alarms, and access control.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in asset protection and make recommendations for improvement.
- Foster a culture of integrity and customer service among all store employees.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with local law enforcement and other external partners.
- Respond to emergency situations and assist in crisis management as needed.
- Create and maintain accurate records and reports related to security incidents and investigations.
- Uphold the company's values and standards of conduct at all times.
- Continuously evaluate and improve asset protection processes and procedures to ensure maximum effectiveness.
Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Asset Protection Or Loss Prevention, Preferably In A Retail Setting.
Strong Leadership And Management Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Lead And Develop A Team.
Knowledge Of Security And Surveillance Systems, As Well As Experience With Inventory Control And Audit Procedures.
Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Handle Difficult Situations And Make Sound Decisions Under Pressure.
