  1. Develop and implement effective strategies and procedures for asset protection in collaboration with the company's leadership team.
  2. Monitor and analyze security risks and threats to the company's assets and make recommendations for improvements.
  3. Manage a team of asset protection specialists, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the team's success.
  4. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential vulnerabilities and address any security concerns.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in asset protection and implement them as necessary.
  6. Collaborate with store managers and other departments to ensure a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.
  7. Investigate and resolve any incidents related to asset protection, including theft, fraud, and safety concerns.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with law enforcement and other security professionals to enhance asset protection efforts.
  9. Prepare and present reports on asset protection performance and make recommendations for improvement to senior management.
  10. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures related to asset protection.
  11. Manage the budget for asset protection and make cost-effective decisions to maximize resources.
  12. Foster a culture of safety and security within the company by promoting awareness and training initiatives.
  13. Serve as a role model for ethical behavior and professionalism in all interactions with customers, employees, and stakeholders.
  14. Handle any other responsibilities or duties related to asset protection as assigned by senior management.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Asset Protection: A Manager At Nordstrom Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Asset Protection, Preferably In A Retail Or Similar Environment. This Includes Experience With Inventory Control, Loss Prevention Techniques, And Conducting Investigations.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Effectively Leading A Team. They Should Be Able To Motivate And Develop Their Team To Achieve Goals And Maintain A Positive Work Environment.

  • Knowledge Of Security Systems And Protocols: A Manager At Nordstrom Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Security Systems, Procedures, And Protocols. This Includes Knowledge Of Cctv Systems, Alarm Systems, And Emergency Response Plans.
