Job Description

Nordstrom is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as Manager of Asset Protection. As the face of our Asset Protection team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to prevent loss and maintain the integrity of our assets.   1. Develop and implement strategies to prevent loss and maintain the integrity of Nordstrom's assets.
  2. Oversee daily operations of the Asset Protection team and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  3. Train and mentor team members to effectively identify and respond to potential security threats.
  4. Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and areas of improvement for asset protection.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement proactive measures to prevent loss.
  6. Act as the primary point of contact for any security-related issues or incidents.
  7. Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  8. Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as law enforcement, to enhance asset protection efforts.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in asset protection technology.
  11. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including senior management, to provide updates on asset protection initiatives and strategies.
  12. Handle any escalated issues or complaints related to asset protection in a timely and professional manner.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve asset protection processes and procedures.
  14. Lead by example and promote a culture of safety and security within the organization.

This Includes Reviewing Surveillance Footage, Analyzing Inventory Reports, And Conducting Audits To Proactively Identify Potential Risks And Develop Solutions To Prevent Loss.

  • Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is Key In Any Managerial Position. A Manager - Asset Protection At Nordstrom Must Be Able To Clearly And Concisely Communicate With Team Members, Store Management, And Other Departments To Ensure A Cohesive Approach To Asset Protection.

  • Experience In Asset Protection: Previous Experience In Asset Protection Or Loss Prevention Is Often Required For A Manager Position At Nordstrom. This Could Include Experience In A Similar Retail Environment Or In Law Enforcement. Familiarity With Nordstrom's Policies And Procedures Is Also Preferred.
