- Develop and implement financial strategies and processes to optimize inventory operations and improve efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels and analyze sales data to identify trends and make recommendations for inventory management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely inventory reporting and reconciliation.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and identify potential discrepancies.
- Manage and maintain inventory valuation and cost accounting systems.
- Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to senior management.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve overall financial performance.
- Monitor and manage inventory budget and expenses.
- Create and maintain inventory forecasting models to aid in decision-making.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in inventory management and apply them to improve processes.
- Train and develop team members on inventory management processes and procedures.
- Communicate with vendors and negotiate terms to optimize inventory levels and costs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to inventory and financial data.
- Continuously evaluate and improve inventory management processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills
Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Or Related Field
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Inventory Management And Operations
Knowledge Of Retail Industry And Inventory Management Software
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage A Team And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Departments.
