Job Description

Nordstrom is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Engineer for Information Decision Systems to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in software engineering, with a passion for developing innovative solutions to our customers' needs.The successful applicant will be a self-driven problem-solver, who is able to think strategically while also having a good understanding of the tools and technologies necessary to create dynamic solutions. They will also be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and be able to work both independently and collaboratively.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, as well as a minimum of 5 years' experience of software engineering and software development. They should also have a deep understanding of decision-making systems and data analysis techniques, an ability to develop and implement software solutions, and a strong understanding of object-oriented programming languages. Knowledge of the retail industry, as well as experience with web development, is a plus.

Responsibilities: -Develop innovative software solutions to meet customer needs -Work independently and collaboratively with stakeholders -Analyze data and understand decision-making systems -Implement software solutions using object-oriented programming languages -Develop and maintain web applications -Document and test software solutions -Provide technical support and troubleshooting -Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends
