  1. Develop and implement security measures to protect Nordstrom's data and systems.
  2. Monitor and respond to security incidents, taking proactive measures to mitigate risks and prevent future incidents.
  3. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address potential security threats.
  4. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging trends in computer security and incident response.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, and operations, to ensure security requirements are integrated into all processes and systems.
  6. Investigate and resolve security-related issues, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  7. Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures to ensure timely and effective incident response.
  8. Provide guidance and support to other team members on security-related matters.
  9. Conduct training and awareness programs to educate employees on security best practices and policies.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve security processes and procedures to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
  11. Participate in audits and compliance assessments to ensure Nordstrom's adherence to security standards and regulations.
  12. Serve as a subject matter expert on computer security and incident response, providing insights and recommendations to leadership as needed.
  13. Proactively identify and address potential security risks and vulnerabilities across all systems and processes.
  14. Maintain documentation of security incidents, investigations, and remediation efforts.
  15. Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours incident response and support.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Computer Security And Incident Response.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Network Security Protocols And Technologies.

  • Experience With Intrusion Detection And Prevention Systems.

  • Professional Certifications Such As Cissp, Ceh, Or Giac Are Highly Preferred.
