- Develop and implement security measures to protect Nordstrom's data and systems.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, taking proactive measures to mitigate risks and prevent future incidents.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address potential security threats.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging trends in computer security and incident response.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, and operations, to ensure security requirements are integrated into all processes and systems.
- Investigate and resolve security-related issues, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures to ensure timely and effective incident response.
- Provide guidance and support to other team members on security-related matters.
- Conduct training and awareness programs to educate employees on security best practices and policies.
- Continuously evaluate and improve security processes and procedures to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate in audits and compliance assessments to ensure Nordstrom's adherence to security standards and regulations.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on computer security and incident response, providing insights and recommendations to leadership as needed.
- Proactively identify and address potential security risks and vulnerabilities across all systems and processes.
- Maintain documentation of security incidents, investigations, and remediation efforts.
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours incident response and support.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Computer Security And Incident Response.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Network Security Protocols And Technologies.
Experience With Intrusion Detection And Prevention Systems.
Professional Certifications Such As Cissp, Ceh, Or Giac Are Highly Preferred.
