  1. Greet and welcome customers to Nordstrom's beauty department with a positive and friendly attitude.
  2. Build and maintain relationships with customers by providing personalized beauty recommendations based on their individual needs and preferences.
  3. Stay up-to-date on the latest beauty products, trends, and techniques in order to provide knowledgeable and relevant recommendations to customers.
  4. Utilize excellent communication and listening skills to understand customers' needs and provide exceptional service.
  5. Create a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for customers to feel comfortable and confident in trying new beauty products and techniques.
  6. Demonstrate and educate customers on how to properly use and apply beauty products.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including regularly restocking and replenishing beauty products.
  8. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless and efficient customer experience.
  9. Meet and exceed sales goals by actively promoting and selling beauty products and services.
  10. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance and improve the beauty department's customer experience.
  11. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  12. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and sanitation guidelines.
  13. Attend training and education sessions to expand knowledge on beauty products and techniques.
  14. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing Nordstrom's brand and values.
  15. Act as a brand ambassador for Nordstrom and promote a positive image of the company.

  • Knowledge Of Beauty Products And Trends: A Beauty Stylist At Nordstrom Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Beauty Products, Including Makeup, Skincare, And Hair Care, As Well As Knowledge Of Current Beauty Trends.

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: Nordstrom Is Known For Its Exceptional Customer Service, And A Beauty Stylist Should Possess Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Provide A Positive And Personalized Experience For Each Customer.

  • Sales And Marketing Experience: As A Beauty Stylist, One Of The Main Responsibilities Is To Promote And Sell Beauty Products. Therefore, Candidates Should Have Experience In Sales And Marketing Techniques To Effectively Showcase And Sell Products To Customers.

  • Experience In Beauty Industry: Previous Experience Working In The Beauty Industry, Such As At A Salon, Spa, Or Makeup Counter, Is Highly Preferred For A Beauty Stylist Position At Nordstrom. This Experience Demonstrates A Strong Understanding Of Beauty Techniques And Products.

  • Flexibility And Adaptability: Nordstrom Is A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment, And A Beauty Stylist Should Be Able To Adapt To Changing Trends And Customer Needs. They Should Also Be Able To Work Flexible Hours, Including Evenings And Weekends, To Accommodate The Store's Busy Schedule.
