Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Beauty Counter Manager to join our team at Nordstrom! This is an exciting role within our beauty department, where you will lead and manage the counter team to ensure the highest levels of customer service and sales performance. The successful candidate should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a passion for beauty, and an understanding of product lines, industry trends, and customer needs.Our ideal candidate will be an experienced beauty and retail professional with a successful track record in sales and customer service, and a proven ability to lead and motivate teams. You will be confident, organized, and proactive, and have a friendly and professional attitude. You should have a good knowledge of beauty products, be up to date with the latest industry trends, and be able to provide customers with excellent advice.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead, manage and motivate a team of beauty counter staff
  2. Ensure high levels of customer service and sales performance
  3. Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction
  4. Monitor the performance of staff and provide feedback for improvement
  5. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback
  6. Ensure all products are correctly priced and displayed
  7. Stock shelves with products and keep inventory up to date
  8. Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene regulations
  9. Maintain a detailed knowledge of beauty products and industry trends
  10. Provide customers with advice and guidance on product selection
