As a Beauty Concierge, you will be the face of Nordstrom, providing personalized and expert beauty recommendations to our customers.   1. Greet and welcome customers to Nordstrom's beauty department with a warm and friendly attitude.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to customer needs and making personalized recommendations.
  3. Stay up-to-date on current beauty trends, products, and techniques to provide expert knowledge and advice to customers.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, creating a personalized and memorable shopping experience.
  5. Collaborate with team members to ensure the beauty department is visually appealing and well-stocked with the latest products.
  6. Utilize product knowledge to assist customers in finding the best beauty products for their individual needs.
  7. Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  8. Attend and participate in training, workshops, and meetings to continuously improve product knowledge and customer service skills.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including product displays and tester areas.
  10. Meet and exceed sales targets by actively promoting and suggesting beauty products to customers.
  11. Work collaboratively with other departments to provide a seamless shopping experience for customers.
  12. Demonstrate excellent communication skills by effectively conveying product information and providing clear and concise instructions to customers.
  13. Uphold Nordstrom's values and standards of service excellence at all times.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the overall success of the beauty department and Nordstrom as a whole.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Beauty Products And Brands: A Beauty Concierge At Nordstrom Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Various Beauty Products, Including Skincare, Makeup, Haircare, And Fragrance. This Includes Being Up-To-Date On New And Emerging Trends, As Well As Having Knowledge Of Different Brands And Their Product Lines.

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: A Beauty Concierge Must Be Able To Provide Exceptional Customer Service To All Clients. This Includes Being Friendly, Approachable, And Able To Anticipate And Fulfill Customer Needs. Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Also Essential.

  • Sales And Retail Experience: As A Beauty Concierge, You Will Be Responsible For Promoting And Selling Products To Customers. Therefore, Having Previous Sales And Retail Experience Is Important. This Includes Being Able To Upsell And Cross-Sell Products, As Well As Meeting Sales Targets.

  • Professional Appearance And Demeanor: As A Representative Of Nordstrom, A Beauty Concierge Should Maintain A Professional Appearance And Demeanor At All Times. This Includes Having A Well-Groomed Appearance, Wearing Appropriate Attire, And Being Courteous And Respectful To All Customers.

  • Ability To Multitask And Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: Nordstrom Is A Busy And Fast-Paced Environment, And A Beauty Concierge Must Be Able To Handle Multiple Tasks And Customers Simultaneously. This Requires Strong Organizational Skills, The Ability To Prioritize Tasks, And The Ability To Work Well Under Pressure.
