Job Description

Welcome to Nordstrom, where fashion and service come together to create a truly unique shopping experience. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as the BBM & MEP Program Manager. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and manage multiple programs focused on building brand awareness and driving sales through our Beauty, Baby, and Maternity departments. We are looking for someone who is passionate about these areas and has a strong understanding of the retail industry. If you have a proven track record of success, exceptional organizational and communication skills, and a knack for building relationships, we want to hear from you!

  1. Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to drive sales and increase brand awareness for the Beauty, Baby, and Maternity departments.
  2. Manage and oversee multiple programs related to Beauty, Baby, and Maternity, including but not limited to product launches, promotions, events, and partnerships.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, marketing, and operations, to ensure successful execution of programs and initiatives.
  4. Monitor and analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement within the Beauty, Baby, and Maternity departments.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors and partners to secure exclusive products and promotions.
  6. Train and mentor team members to ensure they have a strong understanding of the Beauty, Baby, and Maternity departments and are equipped to provide exceptional customer service.
  7. Monitor and maintain program budgets and ensure all expenditures are in line with company goals and objectives.
  8. Continuously evaluate and improve programs and processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  9. Communicate regularly with upper management to provide updates on program performance and make recommendations for future strategies.
  10. Represent Nordstrom in a professional manner at industry events and meetings related to Beauty, Baby, and Maternity.
  11. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to ensure Nordstrom remains at the forefront of the retail industry.
  12. Maintain a positive and collaborative work environment within the team and across departments.
  13. Handle any issues or concerns related to the Beauty, Baby, and Maternity departments and work to find solutions in a timely manner.
  14. Uphold and promote Nordstrom's brand values and customer service standards at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Management Or Related Field, With A Strong Understanding Of Retail Operations And Supply Chain Management.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Project Management, Preferably In A Retail Environment.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Abilities, With A Track Record Of Successfully Implementing Process Improvements And Cost-Saving Initiatives.

  • Knowledge Of Mep (Mechanical, Electrical, And Plumbing) Systems And Building Codes, With Experience Managing Construction And Renovation Projects.
