- Collaborate with buying and planning teams to develop product assortment plans that align with Nordstrom's brand and customer needs.
- Conduct market research and analyze customer behavior to identify trends and make informed merchandising decisions.
- Create visually appealing and cohesive product displays that showcase the Nordstrom brand and inspire customers to make purchases.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date product information, including pricing, sizing, and availability, in all merchandising systems.
- Communicate regularly with vendors and cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Monitor sales performance and make recommendations for markdowns, promotions, and product reorders to achieve sales and profit goals.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop product campaigns and promotions that align with merchandising strategies.
- Prepare and present reports on product performance, customer feedback, and market trends to inform future merchandising decisions.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer preferences to make strategic recommendations for product assortment and merchandising strategies.
- Foster a positive and inclusive team environment by providing support, guidance, and training to other merchandising team members.
Bachelor's Degree In Merchandising, Fashion Marketing, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Product Merchandising, Preferably In The Retail Industry.
Strong Analytical Skills And Ability To Interpret Sales Data To Make Informed Merchandising Decisions.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills To Work Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams Such As Buying, Planning, And Visual Merchandising.
