  1. Monitor and oversee the safety and security of the store premises and its assets.
  2. Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to asset protection and safety.
  3. Conduct regular inspections of the store to identify potential security risks and address any issues.
  4. Collaborate with store management and team members to promote a safe and secure work environment.
  5. Respond promptly and effectively to any security or safety incidents, taking appropriate action as needed.
  6. Train and educate store employees on asset protection measures and safety protocols.
  7. Monitor and review security footage to identify any suspicious or illegal activity.
  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all security incidents, investigations, and resolutions.
  9. Work closely with law enforcement agencies and provide assistance in investigations as needed.
  10. Conduct internal investigations regarding any suspected employee misconduct or policy violations.
  11. Develop and implement emergency response plans to ensure the safety of all employees and customers in the event of an emergency.
  12. Continuously stay informed about current security trends and best practices to improve store security measures.
  13. Communicate and collaborate with other departments, such as Loss Prevention and Human Resources, to address any security and safety concerns.
  14. Adhere to all company policies and procedures and promote a culture of compliance within the store.
  15. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any security or safety concerns raised by customers.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Understanding Of Loss Prevention Principles And Techniques: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Loss Prevention Strategies, Methods, And Technologies Used In Retail Environments. This Includes Knowledge Of Cctv Systems, Alarm Systems, And Inventory Control Procedures.

  • Excellent Problem-Solving And Decision-Making Skills: Asset Protection Coordinators Are Often Required To Make Quick Decisions And Solve Complex Problems Related To Theft, Fraud, And Other Security Issues. The Candidate Should Be Able To Think Critically And Make Sound Decisions In High-Pressure Situations.

  • Experience In Conducting Investigations: A Successful Asset Protection Coordinator Should Have Experience In Conducting Internal Investigations, Including Interviewing Suspects, Reviewing Evidence, And Documenting Findings. This Requires Strong Interpersonal Skills And Attention To Detail.

  • Knowledge Of Legal And Compliance Regulations: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Federal, State, And Local Laws And Regulations Related To Asset Protection And Loss Prevention. This Includes Knowledge Of Privacy Laws, Employee Rights, And Civil And Criminal Codes.

  • Strong Communication And Leadership Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, As Well As Strong Leadership Abilities. They Will Be Responsible For Training And Coaching Team Members On Asset Protection Policies And Procedures, And Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate With All Levels Of The Organization.
