Job Description

  1. Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to asset protection and loss prevention.
  2. Monitor and analyze store activity to identify potential theft or fraudulent behavior.
  3. Conduct thorough investigations and document all incidents of theft, fraud, and other security violations.
  4. Collaborate with store management to develop and implement strategies to prevent loss and minimize risk.
  5. Train and educate store employees on security and loss prevention measures.
  6. Monitor and maintain surveillance and security systems, ensuring they are functioning properly.
  7. Coordinate with law enforcement and other external agencies as needed.
  8. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  9. Keep accurate records and reports of all incidents and investigations.
  10. Communicate effectively with customers and employees to address any safety or security concerns.
  11. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in asset protection and loss prevention.
  12. Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by identifying and addressing any potential hazards.
  13. Collaborate with other departments, such as inventory control and operations, to identify and implement process improvements.
  14. Serve as a role model and promote a culture of integrity and ethical behavior.
  15. Respond promptly and appropriately to any emergency situations.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Asset Protection Practices: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Asset Protection Techniques, Including Risk Assessment, Physical Security, And Loss Prevention Strategies.

  • Experience In Retail Industry: A Strong Background In The Retail Industry Is Necessary For This Role, As The Coordinator Will Be Responsible For Protecting Nordstrom's Assets In A Retail Environment.

  • Analytical Skills: The Ability To Analyze Data And Identify Trends In Order To Proactively Prevent Loss Is A Key Qualification For This Position.
