  1. Monitor and patrol assigned areas of the store to identify and prevent potential theft or fraudulent activities.
  2. Maintain a visible and approachable presence in the store to deter criminal activity and provide assistance to customers.
  3. Conduct thorough investigations of any suspicious or concerning incidents, including reviewing security footage and interviewing witnesses.
  4. Collaborate with store management and law enforcement as needed to address any security or safety concerns.
  5. Enforce company policies and procedures related to asset protection, safety, and loss prevention.
  6. Conduct regular audits of merchandise and cash handling procedures to ensure compliance with company standards.
  7. Train and educate store employees on theft prevention techniques and best practices for maintaining a safe shopping environment.
  8. Monitor and respond to alarm systems and emergency situations, following proper protocols at all times.
  9. Document and report any incidents, accidents, or policy violations that occur on the premises.
  10. Stay informed on the latest security and safety trends and implement necessary changes to enhance asset protection strategies.
  11. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with customers, employees, and law enforcement.
  12. Participate in team meetings and provide input on ways to improve asset protection and safety measures in the store.
  13. Complete all required training and certifications related to asset protection and safety protocols.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned by store management.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Asset Protection Or Loss Prevention, Preferably In A Retail Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Security Protocols And Procedures, Including Cctv Monitoring And Apprehension Techniques.

  • Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills, With The Ability To De-Escalate Situations And Work With A Diverse Team.

  • Proficiency In Using Technology And Software For Inventory Control, Theft Prevention, And Reporting.

  • High Level Of Integrity And Ethical Standards, With A Commitment To Protecting The Company's Assets And Maintaining A Safe Environment For Customers And Employees.
