Asset Protection Agent

We are looking for an experienced Asset Protection Agent to join the Nordstrom team and help protect our company assets. As an Asset Protection Agent, you will be responsible for developing and implementing security plans and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment in our stores. You will also be responsible for investigating incidents of theft or fraud and providing reports to Corporate Security.To be successful as an Asset Protection Agent, you should have excellent investigative and problem-solving skills. You should also be able to develop and maintain effective relationships with store personnel and customers.The ideal candidate should have a minimum of three years’ experience in retail Loss Prevention/Asset Protection, be organized and have a strong attention to detail. It is also important that you have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with customers in a professional manner.

Responsibilities:

-Develop and implement security plans and procedures to protect company assets -Conduct investigations into incidents of theft or fraud and provide reports to Corporate Security -Liaise with store personnel and customers to ensure a safe and secure environment -Perform regular store visits to ensure security protocols are being followed -Identify security threats and respond accordingly -Maintain accurate records of security incidents -Perform background checks on new employees -Provide training to store personnel on security protocols -Monitor surveillance equipment and respond appropriately to any suspicious activity -Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
