Asset Protection Agent

Nordstrom is looking for an experienced Asset Protection Agent to join our team! Our ideal candidate will be a highly organized, self-motivated, and reliable individual who can thrive in a fast-paced retail environment. As an Asset Protection Agent, you are responsible for protecting the store assets, personnel, and customers while providing excellent customer service. To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently. Responsibilities:

1. Monitor store activity to identify potential security risks and take corrective action as needed.
2. Investigate and report any theft or suspicious activities to management.
3. Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while interacting with customers and employees.
4. Develop and implement strategies to reduce shrinkage and increase asset protection.
5. Work with local law enforcement to assist in investigations and apprehend suspects.
6. Educate store associates on asset protection policies and procedures.
7. Execute daily store opening and closing procedures.
8. Utilize surveillance equipment to detect and prevent theft.
9. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
10. Administer first aid and CPR as needed.
