Asset Protection Agent

Nordstrom is looking for a passionate, detail-oriented, and team-focused Asset Protection Agent to join our team. As an Asset Protection Agent, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our customers and employees, protecting our inventory, and reporting any suspicious activity. Our ideal candidate should have a commitment to customer service, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities:

• Monitor surveillance systems to identify suspicious activity and report any incidents to appropriate personnel
• Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of Nordstrom policies and procedures
• Investigate incidents of theft, fraud, and other suspicious activity
• Work closely with Loss Prevention and Security staff to ensure the safety of customers and employees
• Facilitate the return of stolen merchandise to the store
• Train store personnel on Asset Protection policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate records of asset protection activity
• Assist in developing and implementing security procedures for the store
• Follow-up on all reports of suspicious activity and theft
• Perform random security checks and audits of the store’s inventory
