Responsibilities of an Asset Protection Agent: • Monitor customer activity in store and respond to security threats or suspicious behavior • Evaluate, investigate, and report loss prevention incidents • Implement loss prevention policies and procedures to prevent shoplifting and other forms of theft • Educate customers on store policies and procedures • Maintain records of asset protection incidents and complete reports • Utilize security systems and surveillance equipment to monitor store activity • Liaise with local law enforcement to resolve security incidents • Assist in training and development of fellow employees in asset protection • Conduct audits of the store to ensure compliance with security protocols • Respond to customer inquiries and complaints • Adhere to all company safety and security regulations.
