In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Anaplan models to support our financial planning processes.   1. Design and build Anaplan models to support financial planning processes.
  2. Analyze and interpret data to identify key insights and trends.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure accurate and effective model design.
  4. Maintain and update existing Anaplan models as needed.
  5. Develop and implement best practices for Anaplan model-building.
  6. Communicate complex financial concepts and models to non-technical stakeholders.
  7. Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of data.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in Anaplan capabilities.
  9. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Anaplan models.
  10. Provide training and support to end-users on Anaplan models and processes.
  11. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data integrity and security.
  12. Drive continuous improvement of financial planning processes and models.
  13. Maintain documentation and standard operating procedures for Anaplan models.
  14. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company standards and policies.
  15. Adhere to project timelines and deliverables.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience With Anaplan: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience Working With Anaplan, Including Building And Maintaining Complex Models. They Should Be Proficient In Utilizing All Available Anaplan Tools And Features.

  • Strong Financial Modeling Skills: A Successful Anaplan Model Builder Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Financial Concepts And Be Able To Effectively Translate Business Requirements Into Financial Models. They Should Also Be Proficient In Data Analysis And Have A Strong Attention To Detail.

  • Knowledge Of Retail Industry: As Nordstrom Is A Leading Fashion Retailer, The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Retail Industry, Including Key Performance Indicators, Forecasting, And Budgeting. Experience In Retail Planning And Analysis Is A Plus.

  • Collaborative And Team-Oriented Mindset: Anaplan Model Builders At Nordstrom Work Closely With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Finance, Merchandising, And Supply Chain. The Candidate Should Be Able To Effectively Collaborate With Others And Be A Strong Team Player.

  • Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills: The Candidate Should Have Strong Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written, As Well As The Ability To Present Complex Data And Insights In A Clear And Concise Manner.
