Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Silicon Photonics Technology: The Intern Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Silicon Photonics Technology, Including Its Principles, Processes, And Applications. This Includes Knowledge Of Optical Components, Waveguides, And Other Relevant Technologies.

  • Packaging Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Prior Experience In Packaging And Assembly Of Photonics Devices. This Includes Knowledge Of Packaging Materials, Process Optimization, And Reliability Testing.

  • Familiarity With Optical Design Tools: The Intern Should Be Familiar With Industry-Standard Optical Design And Simulation Tools Such As Lumerical Or Synopsys Rsoft. This Will Be Crucial For Designing And Optimizing The Performance Of Silicon Photonics Devices.

  • Understanding Of Manufacturing Processes: The Candidate Should Have A Basic Understanding Of Manufacturing Processes Involved In The Production Of Silicon Photonics Devices. This Includes Knowledge Of Lithography, Etching, And Thin Film Deposition Techniques.

  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: The Intern Should Possess Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Troubleshoot Packaging-Related Issues And Propose Solutions. This Includes The Ability To Work Independently And In A Team Environment To Address Complex Problems.
