As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Session Border Controller (SBC) systems and IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) architectures for our clients. Develop and design Session Border Controller (SBC) systems and IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) architectures for clients.
Implement and maintain SBC and IMS solutions in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure successful deployment of SBC and IMS systems.
Conduct thorough system analysis and testing to identify and resolve any issues or inefficiencies in SBC and IMS implementations.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in SBC and IMS technologies to continuously improve and enhance our offerings.
Provide technical support and assistance to clients, troubleshooting and resolving any SBC and IMS related issues.
Create and maintain documentation of SBC and IMS systems, including design plans, configuration guides, and user manuals.
Ensure compliance with security protocols and standards while designing and implementing SBC and IMS systems.
Mentor and guide junior team members in SBC and IMS technologies and best practices.
Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers to evaluate and integrate new technologies into our SBC and IMS solutions.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience With Sbc And Ims Technologies: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 8-10 Years Of Experience Working With Session Border Controllers (Sbc) And Ip Multimedia Subsystem (Ims) Architecture In A Telecom Environment. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Various Components And Protocols Of These Technologies.
Proficient In Network Design And Implementation: The Senior Sbc System Engineer / Ims Architect Should Have A Strong Background In Network Design And Implementation, With A Focus On Sbc And Ims Deployment. They Should Be Able To Design And Implement Complex Solutions, Troubleshoot Issues, And Optimize Network Performance.
Expertise In Voip And Sip: A Thorough Understanding Of Voice Over Internet Protocol (Voip) And Session Initiation Protocol (Sip) Is Crucial For This Role. The Candidate Should Have Hands-On Experience With Voip And Sip Technologies, Including Troubleshooting And Configuring Sip Trunks, Gateways, And Media Gateways.
Strong Knowledge Of Cloud And Virtualization Technologies: As Sbc And Ims Technologies Move Towards Virtualization And Cloud-Based Deployments, The Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of Virtualization Platforms Like Vmware, Openstack, And Cloud Technologies Like Aws And Azure. Experience With Software-Defined Networking (Sdn) And Network Function Virtualization (Nfv) Is Also Desirable.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills: The Senior Sbc System Engineer / Ims Architect Will Be Responsible For Leading And Managing A Team Of Engineers, As Well As Working With Cross-Functional Teams And Customers. Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills Are Essential For This Role, Including The Ability To Present Technical Information In A Clear And Concise Manner.
