- Develop and lead Nokia's IoT licensing strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives
- Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in intellectual property law and the IoT industry to inform and guide licensing decisions
- Communicate and negotiate with external partners and stakeholders to secure favorable licensing agreements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, sales, and finance to ensure cohesive and comprehensive licensing strategies
- Analyze and assess potential legal risks and provide guidance to mitigate and manage these risks
- Lead and mentor a team of legal professionals to support IoT licensing efforts
- Represent Nokia in legal proceedings related to IoT licensing, including negotiations, settlements, and litigation
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key industry players and regulators to stay informed and influence industry trends
- Provide legal support and advice to business units and senior leadership on licensing matters
- Continuously evaluate and improve licensing processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Juris Doctor (J.d.) Degree From An Accredited Law School
Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience Practicing Law, With A Focus On Intellectual Property And Licensing In The Technology Industry
Extensive Knowledge Of Iot (Internet Of Things) Technology And Related Legal Issues, Including Data Privacy And Security
Strong Negotiation And Communication Skills, With Experience In Drafting And Reviewing Complex Licensing Agreements
