Optical Systems Bell Labs Intern
The Optical Transmission Research Group within Smart Network in Bell Labs advances the state of the art in high-speed and high-capacity optical communications systems and their underlying subsystems. Nokia Bell Labs is building the future – connecting all humans, all senses, all things, all systems, all infrastructure, all processes. Students will be working on theoretic, algorithmic, and hardware oriented research projects related to high-speed and high-capacity optical transmission systems and subsystems. They will use existing software and hardware tools and extend their functionalities. They will take part in laboratory experiments and, results permitting, will even co-author research papers with their respective mentors
Overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above.
Hands-on experience with high-speed optics and opto-electronics
Must be enrolled as a full-time student.
