Responsibilities:

  1. Provide expert legal advice and representation to Nokia in all areas of litigation.
  2. Develop and implement litigation strategies to protect the company's interests and achieve favorable outcomes.
  3. Manage and oversee all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, conducting legal research, and representing the company in court.
  4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including business leaders and other members of the legal team, to understand and address the company's legal needs.
  5. Stay up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations in the telecommunications industry, and provide guidance to the company on potential legal implications.
  6. Work closely with outside counsel to effectively manage and monitor litigation matters.
  7. Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate potential legal risks.
  8. Prepare and present reports to senior management on litigation matters and potential legal implications for the company.
  9. Assist with the development and implementation of company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  10. Participate in negotiations and settlements with opposing parties, as needed.
  11. Maintain accurate and organized records of all legal matters and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  12. Represent the company in alternative dispute resolution processes, such as mediation and arbitration.
  13. Collaborate with other departments, such as Human Resources and Compliance, to ensure alignment and consistency in legal matters.
  14. Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of legal strategies and recommend improvements as needed.
  15. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in litigation and share relevant information with the legal team and other stakeholders.
  16. Uphold the company's ethical standards and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Job Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (Jd) Degree From An Accredited Law School

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Litigation, Preferably In A Corporate Setting

  • Admitted To Practice Law In The State Where The Position Is Located

  • Strong Understanding Of Civil Litigation Procedures And Processes

  • Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Present Legal Arguments In A Courtroom Setting.
