
Facilities Management Co-op
Nokia is looking for a highly motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Co-op to join our Facilities Management team. In this role, you will work with the Facilities team to ensure that our facilities are maintained in the highest standards and provide a safe and comfortable working environment for our employees. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: • A Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Construction Management, or a related field • Experience in the field of Facilities Management • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectivelyWe are looking for a candidate who is passionate about facilities management and ready to take on challenges. Responsibilities: • Monitor and maintain the condition of all facilities and equipment to ensure that they meet safety and performance standards • Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure facilities are managed in an efficient and cost-effective manner • Develop and implement strategies to reduce energy consumption and improve sustainability • Manage and oversee all facility maintenance and repair activities • Ensure all facilities are compliant with applicable laws and regulations • Oversee the installation of new equipment and systems and ensure proper functioning • Work with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of maintenance and repair projects • Assist with the coordination of special events and activities in the facilities • Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports on the condition of the facilities • Develop and implement plans for emergency preparedness and response • Ensure all safety standards and protocols are followed • Respond to inquiries and requests from staff members in a timely and professional manner.
