Lead the design and implementation of the fabric architecture for our data centers, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance the fabric architecture.
Develop and implement best practices, standards, and guidelines for data center fabric architecture.
Monitor and analyze data center fabric performance, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise.
Manage and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring the timely delivery of necessary hardware and software.
Work closely with network engineers and other technical team members to ensure seamless integration of the fabric architecture with other systems.
Conduct regular audits and assessments of the data center fabric to ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the team.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data center fabric architecture, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

Job Qualifications

In-Depth Knowledge Of Network Architecture And Design Principles: A Data Center Fabric Architect At Nokia Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Network Architecture And Design Principles, Including Knowledge Of Various Networking Technologies Such As Ip, Mpls, Ethernet, And Routing Protocols.
Extensive Experience With Data Center Fabric Technologies: Candidates For This Role Should Have A Deep Understanding And Hands-On Experience With Data Center Fabric Technologies Such As Software Defined Networking (Sdn), Virtual Extensible Lan (Vxlan), And Fabricpath.
Proficiency In Network Automation And Orchestration: Data Center Fabric Architects Should Have Expertise In Network Automation And Orchestration Tools Such As Ansible, Puppet, Or Chef. They Should Also Have Experience With Scripting Languages Like Python, Perl, Or Bash.
Strong Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Data Center Fabric Architect, It Is Important To Have The Ability To Troubleshoot Complex Network Issues And Provide Effective Solutions. This Requires Strong Problem-Solving Skills And The Ability To Think Critically.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: A Data Center Fabric Architect Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate And Collaborate With Other Teams, Including Network Engineers, System Administrators, And Developers. They Should Also Have The Ability To Present Complex Technical Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
