
Component Engineer
The Component Engineer will have the responsibility for maintaining the electronic and electromechanical component ownership for designs and thus be responsible for identifying, qualifying, detailing and releasing components. Participate in the design, assembly, and testing of components to make sure they meet the product design specifications for function, performance and quality. Assist design engineers in selecting, qualifying, approving and documenting release of new components. Participate in PCN management and drive component health analysis to support design community.
Master’s degree a plus.
Over 6+ years of engineering experience in component and commodity engineering, servicing multiple design teams.
Technical leadership experience in all types electrical and electromechanical components in boards and systems
In depth knowledge of all tiers of electrical commodities is required.
Knowledge of industry regulations (CE, UL, IEC, RoHs, REACH)
