Conduct research and development on cutting-edge robotic systems to help advance technology and shape the future.
Collaborate with a team of experts in the fields of robotics, artificial intelligence, and engineering to develop innovative solutions.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in robotics to inform and enhance research projects.
Design and conduct experiments to test the performance and functionality of robotic systems.
Analyze data and results to identify areas for improvement and optimize system performance.
Develop algorithms and software for robotic control and decision-making.
Build and test prototypes of robotic systems, including hardware and software components.
Document research findings and present them to internal and external stakeholders.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of robotic systems into existing technologies.
Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance research and development procedures.
Collaborate with external partners and vendors to leverage their expertise and resources in the development of robotic systems.
Adhere to project timelines and milestones to ensure timely delivery of research projects.
Mentor and train junior team members on research methodologies and best practices.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and represent Bell Labs and Nokia as a leader in the field of robotics.
Contribute to the development of patents and publications to showcase the company's advancements in robotics technology.

Job Qualifications

Advanced Degree In Robotics Or Related Field: A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Robotics, Computer Science, Or A Related Field Is Required For This Position. A Phd Is Preferred.
Extensive Experience In Robotics Research: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience Working In The Field Of Robotics, With A Strong Focus On Research And Development.
Proficiency In Programming And Software Development: Strong Programming Skills In Languages Such As C++, Python, And Matlab Are Essential For This Role. Experience With Software Development Tools And Libraries Used In Robotics Is Also Desired.
Knowledge Of Ai And Machine Learning: The Candidate Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Artificial Intelligence And Machine Learning Techniques, And How They Can Be Applied To Robotics. Experience With Deep Learning Frameworks Such As Tensorflow Or Pytorch Is A Plus.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Ability To Think Critically And Solve Complex Problems Is Crucial For Success In This Role. The Candidate Should Have A Track Record Of Developing Innovative Solutions In The Field Of Robotics.
