  1. Conduct research and development projects within the Platform & ASIC team in order to contribute to the advancement of digital communications technology.
  2. Collaborate with a team of experts and engineers to develop and implement innovative solutions for the telecommunications industry.
  3. Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential areas for improvement and development.
  4. Work with a variety of tools and technologies to design, test, and optimize digital communication platforms and ASICs.
  5. Communicate and present findings and progress updates to team members and other stakeholders.
  6. Contribute to the creation and maintenance of project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to inform and improve research and development efforts.
  8. Assist in the development and execution of tests, experiments, and simulations to evaluate the performance and effectiveness of developed solutions.
  9. Maintain accurate and organized documentation of all research and development processes and results.
  10. Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as industry standards and regulations, to ensure the quality and integrity of all work produced.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Academic Background: A Successful Candidate For This Position Should Have A Strong Academic Background In Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Or A Related Field. This Includes A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree, With Preference Given To Those Pursuing A Master's Or Phd.

  • Knowledge Of Platform & Asic Design: This Co-Op Role Requires A Solid Understanding Of Platform And Asic Design Principles, As Well As Experience With Related Tools And Methodologies. Previous Coursework Or Hands-On Experience In This Area Is Highly Desirable.

  • Programming Skills: The Ability To Code In Languages Such As C, C++, Or Verilog Is A Must For This Role. Familiarity With Software Development Processes And Tools Is Also Beneficial.

  • Problem-Solving Ability: As A Member Of The Bell Labs Team, You Will Be Working On Cutting-Edge Research Projects That Require A High Level Of Problem-Solving Skills. The Ability To Think Critically And Creatively To Solve Complex Technical Challenges Is Essential.

  • Teamwork And Communication Skills: Nokia Values Collaboration And Effective Communication, So Candidates Must Possess Strong Teamwork And Communication Skills. This Includes The Ability To Work Well In A Team, Share Ideas, And Present Findings And Results To Colleagues And Stakeholders.
