Electrical Protection and Control Engineer

Provide direct support to achieve safe, reliable and regulatory compliant construction, upgrades, troubleshooting and maintenance of protective relaying systems, substation integration & automation systems, substation control systems and remote terminal units. Execute, track and report out maintenance and project progress. Ensure compliance to NERC (PRC, CIP), TRE and ERCOT reliability standards, guides and protocols for station equipment. Ensure compliance to construction specifications, operating standards and procedures. Main office location for this position will be in Abilene, TX and will travel to substations as needed. Provides engineering, design and environmental support. Tracks and reports on project negotiations and performance. Delivers company standards, policies, training, and support of organization. Prepares communications, presentations and provides support at meetings. Formulates researches, and develops improvement measures.
