Test Analyst

NEXT plc is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Test Analyst to join our highly skilled software development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for verifying that all software products meet NEXT plc's standards for quality.The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in software testing and be able to demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills. An understanding of various software development life cycles, test management tools and defect tracking systems is essential. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure quality assurance standards are met.
2. Identify, document, and report software defects.
3. Analyze test results and provide feedback to software developers.
4. Research and learn new testing techniques.
5. Create and maintain detailed documentation of test results.
6. Work with the development team to ensure that software products meet NEXT plc’s standards for quality.
7. Use test management tools, defect tracking systems and other software development life cycles to ensure effective testing.
8. Maintain good communication with the software development team and other stakeholders.
9. Ensure all testing tasks are completed in a timely manner.
10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
