Job Description

NEXT plc is looking for an experienced Stock Manager to join our retail team. We require an individual with a strong background in supply chain management and an analytical mindset to efficiently manage stock across our retail stores. The successful candidate must have a proven track record of success in a fast-paced retail environment.This position offers an excellent opportunity for the right individual to help NEXT plc continue to achieve the highest levels of customer service. The Stock Manager is responsible for ensuring that all stock is managed effectively and that our customers are provided with the best products and services. Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee NEXT plc’s retail stock management, including supply chain management and product selection.
  2. Monitor stock levels in order to ensure that customer demands are met.
  3. Analyze stock movement and inventory data to identify areas for improvement.
  4. Develop and implement strategies to optimize stock management processes.
  5. Communicate with suppliers to ensure that stock is delivered on time and in full.
  6. Create and manage budgets in order to ensure cost-efficiency.
  7. Liaise with store managers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
  8. Utilize customer feedback and data analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  9. Monitor customer service levels to ensure that customers are receiving the best service possible.
  10. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
