Financial Accountant

NEXT plc is currently looking for a dynamic and experienced Financial Accountant to join our team. This position is responsible for providing financial advice and support to the Management team to ensure that the company’s financial goals are met.The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial accounting and a recognized accounting qualification. You will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be an analytical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities. You will be proactive and be able to work to tight deadlines.We are looking for someone who can demonstrate a good understanding of financial principles and will be able to interpret financial data, provide financial advice, and prepare financial reports. Responsibilities:

1. Provide financial advice and support to the Management team to ensure the company's financial goals are met.
2. Interpret financial data and prepare financial reports.
3. Monitor and analyze financial data and budgets.
4. Develop and manage financial systems and procedures.
5. Identify areas for cost reduction and potential process improvements.
6. Ensure all financial transactions are carried out in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
7. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
8. Participate in the annual financial audit process.
9. Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
10. Liaise with external financial stakeholders.
