Assistant Buyer

Responsibilities:

1. Assist Buyers in developing and delivering product ranges
2. Aid in market research to identify trends
3. Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods
4. Monitor stock levels and sales performance
5. Maintain accurate records of stock, orders and deliveries
6. Analyse customer feedback and market research data
7. Develop ideas for new product ranges
8. Participate in buying meetings
9. Support the Buyers in negotiating deals with suppliers
10. Assist in creating presentations for product launches
11. Monitor competitor activities and pricing
12. Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations
13. Provide administrative support to the Buyers
14. Ensure the product range is displayed in a visually appealing way in store
