  1. Oversee daily operations of the store and ensure all tasks and responsibilities are completed efficiently and accurately.
  2. Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.
  3. Train and onboard new team members, ensuring they are knowledgeable about the brand and products.
  4. Create and maintain a welcoming and inviting atmosphere in the store through effective visual merchandising and maintaining product displays.
  5. Monitor and track inventory levels to ensure product availability and prevent stock shortages.
  6. Assist with scheduling and time management to ensure adequate coverage during peak business hours.
  7. Communicate with upper management and provide regular updates on store performance and any issues or concerns.
  8. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner, resolving issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
  9. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members to improve their skills and performance.
  10. Adhere to company policies and procedures and ensure the store is in compliance with all safety and security guidelines.
  11. Collaborate with other store managers and attend meetings and training sessions to stay updated on company initiatives and strategies.
  12. Continuously strive to increase sales and drive revenue while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  13. Maintain a thorough understanding of the brand, products, and promotions to effectively promote and sell to customers.
  14. Help foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and cooperation among team members.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Retail Management Experience: A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Retail Management Role, Preferably In The Home Goods Or Candle Industry, Is Required For This Position.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Excellent Leadership Qualities, Including The Ability To Motivate And Guide A Team Towards Achieving Goals And Targets.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: As An Interim 2Nd Assistant Store Manager, You Will Be Responsible For Communicating With Both Upper Management And Store Staff. Strong Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, Are Essential For This Role.

  • Knowledge Of Yankee Candle Products: Familiarity With Yankee Candle Products And Brand Is Preferred, As Well As A Passion For The Brand And Its Mission.

  • Flexibility And Adaptability: This Is An Interim Position, So The Ideal Candidate Should Be Able To Adapt To Changing Situations And Work Well Under Pressure. Flexible Availability, Including Evenings And Weekends, Is Also Necessary For This Role.
