As a Senior Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing our global tax strategy and ensuring compliance with international tax laws and regulations. We are looking for a strategic thinker with extensive experience in international tax planning and a strong understanding of global tax issues.   1. Develop and implement global tax strategies to minimize tax liability and ensure compliance with international tax laws and regulations.
  2. Keep abreast of changing international tax laws and regulations and provide recommendations to senior leadership on potential implications for the company.
  3. Conduct research and analysis on complex tax issues to support business decisions and initiatives.
  4. Oversee all international tax compliance processes, including tax filings, audits, and financial reporting.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for tax optimization and provide guidance on tax implications of business decisions.
  6. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including tax authorities and external advisors, to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  7. Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support on technical tax matters.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment of tax strategy with business goals.
  9. Participate in the due diligence process for potential mergers and acquisitions, providing tax expertise and guidance.
  10. Continuously review and improve tax processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of International Tax Laws And Regulations: A Senior Manager, International Tax At Newell Brands Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of The Complex And Ever-Changing Landscape Of International Tax Laws, Including Transfer Pricing, Tax Treaties, And Foreign Tax Credits.

  • Experience In Managing Global Tax Compliance: This Role Requires A Candidate To Have Experience In Overseeing Tax Compliance For Multiple Countries, Including Preparing And Reviewing Tax Returns, Managing Tax Audits, And Ensuring Timely And Accurate Reporting.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Senior Manager, International Tax, One Must Possess Strong Analytical Skills To Identify And Resolve Complex Tax Issues, As Well As Develop Tax Planning Strategies To Optimize The Company's Global Tax Position.
