We are currently seeking a Senior Manager of Industrial Design to join our dynamic and highly creative team. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the industrial design process from concept to production, ensuring that our products are not only functional and aesthetically pleasing, but also meet our customers' needs and expectations. This role requires a strong leader with exceptional design skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.   1. Lead and manage the entire industrial design process from concept to production for all of Newell Brands' products.
  2. Develop and oversee design strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  3. Ensure that all products meet high standards of functionality, aesthetics, and customer satisfaction.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, engineering, and product management to ensure designs are aligned with business objectives and timelines.
  5. Work closely with the design team to provide guidance, mentorship, and support for professional growth.
  6. Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and consumer insights to inform and improve design decisions.
  7. Drive innovation and creativity within the design team to develop cutting-edge and market-leading products.
  8. Manage and prioritize multiple projects while adhering to timelines and budgets.
  9. Present design concepts and strategies to senior management and stakeholders, providing clear and persuasive communication.
  10. Oversee design research and user testing to ensure products meet the needs and expectations of target audiences.
  11. Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and industry best practices.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve the design process to optimize efficiency and quality.
  13. Ensure all designs adhere to company and industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines.
  14. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages creativity, open communication, and professional growth.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Industrial Design Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 8-10 Years Experience In Industrial Design, Preferably In A Leadership Or Management Role.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Leading Cross-Functional Design Teams.

  • Strong Understanding Of Design Processes, Trends, And Technologies In The Consumer Goods Industry.

  • Excellent Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Prioritize And Delegate Tasks Effectively To Meet Deadlines.
