  1. Lead and oversee the research and development operations for the Outdoor & Recreation segment of Newell Brands.
  2. Develop and implement innovative product strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  3. Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify market trends and customer needs, and use this information to drive product development.
  4. Manage and mentor a team of R&D professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of projects.
  5. Collaborate with internal and external partners to identify and leverage new technologies and materials to improve product performance and drive innovation.
  6. Monitor and analyze industry trends, competition, and consumer feedback to continuously improve and evolve product offerings.
  7. Develop and manage budgets for R&D projects, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely project completion.
  8. Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the R&D team.
  9. Communicate regularly with senior leadership to provide updates on R&D projects, progress, and challenges.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry developments and advancements in technology to guide the direction of product development.
