- Assist the Store Manager in daily operations and management of the retail store.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their shopping needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability and minimize out-of-stock situations.
- Assist with visual merchandising and product displays to effectively showcase new and featured products.
- Train and coach sales associates on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement strategies to increase sales and achieve store goals.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to make informed business decisions.
- Serve as a role model for sales associates by demonstrating a positive and professional attitude.
- Assist with employee scheduling and payroll tasks as needed.
- Complete administrative tasks such as inventory audits, cash handling, and opening/closing procedures.
- Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to enhance the overall customer experience.
Previous Retail Management Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Retail Management Role, Preferably In A Similar Industry. This Experience Should Include Managing A Team, Setting Sales Targets, And Driving Customer Satisfaction.
Strong Leadership Skills: As An Interim 2Nd Assistant Manager, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Overseeing The Store Operations In The Absence Of The Store Manager. Therefore, They Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills, Be Able To Delegate Tasks Effectively, And Motivate Their Team To Achieve Goals.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Retail Is A Customer-Facing Industry, And The Candidate Should Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Both Customers And Team Members. They Should Also Be Able To Build Strong Relationships With Customers To Drive Sales And Promote Brand Loyalty.
Knowledge Of Retail Operations And Inventory Management: The Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of Retail Operations, Including Inventory Management, Visual Merchandising, And Sales Forecasting. This Knowledge Will Help Them Effectively Manage The Store And Meet Sales Targets.
