- Conduct thorough reliability testing on new and existing products to identify potential issues and ensure product quality and durability.
- Analyze data and results from reliability testing to identify trends and make recommendations for product improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, and production to ensure reliability considerations are integrated throughout the product development process.
- Develop and implement reliability testing protocols and procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy in testing.
- Utilize various tools and techniques such as root cause analysis, FMEA, and statistical analysis to identify and address potential reliability issues.
- Communicate reliability findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including management, engineering teams, and suppliers.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate product performance and reliability in the field, and make recommendations for improvements as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on industry standards and best practices related to product reliability and incorporate them into our processes and procedures.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure the quality and reliability of components and materials used in our products.
- Mentor and train junior engineers and team members on reliability engineering principles and techniques.
- Participate in product design reviews and provide input and recommendations for improving product reliability.
- Identify opportunities for cost and time savings through improved product reliability and implement these changes in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure overall product quality.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all reliability testing and analysis results.
Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or A Related Field, With A Focus On Reliability Or Quality Control.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Consumer Goods Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Reliability Engineering Principles, Including Failure Mode And Effects Analysis (Fmea), Root Cause Analysis (Rca), And Reliability Centered Maintenance (Rcm).
Experience With Implementing And Managing Reliability Programs And Processes, Such As Predictive And Preventive Maintenance, Asset Management, And Continuous Improvement Initiatives.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret Data And Make Recommendations For Improving Product Reliability And Reducing Downtime.
