- Develop and implement a comprehensive supplier quality and food safety program to ensure the safety and quality of our products.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of our suppliers to evaluate their performance in meeting quality and safety standards.
- Identify areas for improvement in supplier processes and work with them to implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain quality and food safety requirements for new and existing products.
- Monitor and track supplier quality metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement risk mitigation strategies for potential quality and food safety issues.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations related to supplier quality and food safety, and incorporate them into our program.
- Communicate and work closely with suppliers to ensure their understanding and compliance with our quality and food safety standards.
- Train and educate suppliers on quality and food safety best practices.
- Lead investigations and root cause analysis for supplier-related quality and food safety issues.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to foster a culture of quality and food safety excellence.
- Represent the company in supplier quality and food safety audits and inspections.
- Provide regular reports and updates to management on supplier quality and food safety performance.
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our supplier quality and food safety programs.
- Act as a subject matter expert and resource for the organization on all matters related to supplier quality and food safety.
Bachelor's Degree In Engineering – A Degree In Engineering Is A Basic Requirement For This Job. It Demonstrates The Technical Knowledge And Skills Necessary To Understand And Evaluate Supplier Quality And Food Safety Processes.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Supplier Quality And Food Safety – A Proven Track Record Of Experience In The Field Is Crucial For This Role. It Shows The Ability To Effectively Manage And Improve Supplier Quality And Food Safety Systems.
Knowledge Of Quality Management Systems And Food Safety Regulations – This Role Requires A Deep Understanding Of Quality Management Principles And Food Safety Regulations To Ensure Compliance And Continuous Improvement In Supplier Processes.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills – An Engineer Qm Must Be Able To Analyze Complex Data, Identify Root Causes Of Issues, And Develop Effective Solutions To Improve Supplier Quality And Food Safety.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills – This Role Involves Working With Cross-Functional Teams And External Suppliers, So Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Essential For Success.
