  1. Develop and implement enterprise architecture strategy to support New York Life's business goals and objectives.
  2. Lead and manage a team of enterprise architects to ensure alignment with business needs and objectives.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technology initiatives that support business objectives.
  4. Conduct regular assessments of the company's current technology landscape and identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  5. Develop and maintain standards and guidelines for enterprise architecture, ensuring consistency and compliance across all technology systems and processes.
  6. Act as a liaison between business and technology teams to facilitate communication and alignment on enterprise architecture initiatives.
  7. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in technology to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  8. Provide guidance and recommendations to senior leadership on technology investments and initiatives.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to leverage their expertise and solutions for enterprise architecture needs.
  10. Monitor and manage enterprise architecture budget and resources to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
  11. Train and develop team members on enterprise architecture principles and best practices.
  12. Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues related to enterprise architecture projects.
  13. Communicate and present enterprise architecture plans and progress to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  14. Collaborate with other departments to ensure enterprise architecture initiatives are aligned with overall company goals and objectives.
  15. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the enterprise architecture team.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Enterprise Architecture: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Enterprise Architecture, With A Proven Track Record Of Designing And Implementing Successful Enterprise-Wide Solutions.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As The Vp/Head Of Enterprise Architecture, The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Leadership Skills And Be Able To Lead A Team Of Architects And Analysts Towards The Achievement Of The Company's Strategic Goals.

  • Business Acumen: A Deep Understanding Of The Insurance And Financial Services Industry Is Essential For This Role. The Candidate Should Have A Strong Business Acumen And Be Able To Align The Enterprise Architecture Strategy With The Company's Business Objectives.

  • Technical Expertise: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Technical Background And Be Proficient In Various Enterprise Architecture Methodologies, Such As Togaf, Zachman, And Agile. They Should Also Have A Thorough Understanding Of Emerging Technologies And Industry Trends.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Vp/Head Of Enterprise Architecture Will Be Required To Collaborate With Various Stakeholders, Including Business Leaders, It Teams, And External Vendors. Therefore, Strong Communication, Negotiation, And Collaboration Skills Are Crucial For This Role.
