- Process and manage complex insurance claims for policyholders in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain a high level of empathy and understanding while communicating with policyholders during the claims process.
- Collaborate with various departments and teams to gather necessary information and documentation for claims processing.
- Conduct thorough investigations and evaluations of claims to determine coverage and liability.
- Review and analyze policy contracts to ensure accurate interpretation and application of coverage.
- Keep up-to-date with industry regulations and company policies to ensure compliance in claims handling.
- Make sound decisions based on policy provisions, company guidelines, and state laws.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing policyholder inquiries and concerns.
- Identify and escalate potential fraud or suspicious claims.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of claims and claim-related activities.
- Participate in training and development programs to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
- Mentor and train junior claims representatives on best practices and company policies.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of claims processes and procedures.
- Meet or exceed performance metrics and goals set by the company.
- Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Finance, Or A Related Field.
At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Insurance Claims Processing And Management.
Strong Knowledge Of Life Insurance Products And Policies, Including Understanding Of State Regulations.
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Handle Complex And Sensitive Customer Inquiries And Complaints.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Multiple Claims And Meeting Performance Metrics And Targets.
