
Senior Associate, VUL Product Consultant - External Wholesaler

- Develop and implement strategic plans to increase sales and market share for the VUL product line.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with financial advisors, brokers, and other industry professionals to promote and sell VUL products.
- Conduct training and product presentations for financial advisors to increase their knowledge and understanding of VUL products.
- Analyze market trends and competitor products to identify opportunities for growth and make recommendations to management.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to clients.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of VUL products, features, and benefits to effectively communicate with clients and financial advisors.
- Utilize sales data and reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Act as a brand ambassador for New York Life, representing the company with professionalism and integrity.
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and compliance requirements to ensure adherence in all sales activities.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to financial advisors and their clients, addressing any questions or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Extensive Product Knowledge: A Senior Associate, Vul Product Consultant Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Variable Universal Life (Vul) Insurance Products And The Ability To Effectively Communicate Their Features And Benefits To External Clients.
Sales Experience: This Role Requires A Proven Track Record Of Success In Sales, Specifically In The Financial Services Or Insurance Industry. The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Strong Communication And Persuasion Skills To Effectively Promote And Sell Vul Products.
Relationship Management: As An External Wholesaler, The Senior Associate Will Be Responsible For Building And Maintaining Relationships With Financial Advisors And Other External Partners. Strong Interpersonal Skills And The Ability To Establish Trust And Credibility Are Essential For Success In This Role.
Regulatory Knowledge: Given The Highly Regulated Nature Of The Insurance Industry, The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Relevant Laws And Regulations. This Includes Knowledge Of Finra And Sec Rules, As Well As State Insurance Regulations.
