
Senior Associate, LTC Underwriting Quality Control

- Conduct quality control checks on long-term care underwriting processes to ensure accuracy and adherence to company standards.
- Analyze and review underwriting data and documents to identify any discrepancies or errors.
- Communicate with underwriters and other team members to address any issues and provide feedback on areas of improvement.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols to maintain high standards and improve efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices related to long-term care underwriting.
- Provide training and support to new underwriters to ensure consistency and accuracy in underwriting practices.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as claims and customer service, to address any underwriting concerns or inquiries.
- Generate reports and metrics to track the effectiveness of quality control processes and make recommendations for improvement.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing the overall underwriting process.
- Act as a subject matter expert on long-term care underwriting and provide guidance to team members as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to enhance the overall quality of underwriting within the company.
- Assist in the development and implementation of risk management strategies to minimize potential underwriting risks.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Finance, Accounting, Or Related Field
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Long-Term Care (Ltc) Insurance Underwriting
Strong Understanding Of Ltc Underwriting Guidelines And Regulations
Proven Track Record Of Conducting Quality Control Audits And Reviews In A Fast-Paced Environment
