In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accurate and timely recording of all derivative transactions and the production of financial reports in compliance with regulatory and accounting standards.   1. Accurately record all derivative transactions in compliance with regulatory and accounting standards.
  2. Prepare and review financial reports related to derivative transactions.
  3. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all derivative activities.
  4. Collaborate with other teams within the company to gather necessary data for derivative reporting.
  5. Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and ensure compliance in derivative reporting.
  6. Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues in derivative accounting and reporting.
  7. Maintain a thorough understanding of all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  8. Provide support and guidance to junior team members regarding derivative accounting and reporting.
  9. Continuously improve processes and procedures related to derivative accounting and reporting.
  10. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including management, auditors, and regulators.
  11. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends related to derivative accounting and reporting.
  12. Uphold the company's values and promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
  13. Contribute to the overall success of the Derivative Accounting & Reporting team and the company as a whole.
  14. Meet strict deadlines and ensure timely completion of all assigned tasks.
  15. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Knowledge Of Derivative Accounting Principles And Reporting Standards, Including Asc 815 And Ifrs 9.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Derivative Accounting And Reporting Within The Insurance Or Financial Services Industry.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or Related Field; Cpa Or Advanced Degree Preferred.

  • Proven Ability To Lead And Manage Complex Projects And Initiatives, With Excellent Project Management Skills.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Financial Information To Both Technical And Non-Technical Stakeholders.
