
Senior Associate - Derivative Accounting & Reporting

- Accurately record all derivative transactions in compliance with regulatory and accounting standards.
- Prepare and review financial reports related to derivative transactions.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all derivative activities.
- Collaborate with other teams within the company to gather necessary data for derivative reporting.
- Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and ensure compliance in derivative reporting.
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues in derivative accounting and reporting.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Provide support and guidance to junior team members regarding derivative accounting and reporting.
- Continuously improve processes and procedures related to derivative accounting and reporting.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including management, auditors, and regulators.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends related to derivative accounting and reporting.
- Uphold the company's values and promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Contribute to the overall success of the Derivative Accounting & Reporting team and the company as a whole.
- Meet strict deadlines and ensure timely completion of all assigned tasks.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Strong Knowledge Of Derivative Accounting Principles And Reporting Standards, Including Asc 815 And Ifrs 9.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Derivative Accounting And Reporting Within The Insurance Or Financial Services Industry.
Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or Related Field; Cpa Or Advanced Degree Preferred.
Proven Ability To Lead And Manage Complex Projects And Initiatives, With Excellent Project Management Skills.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Financial Information To Both Technical And Non-Technical Stakeholders.
