- Responsible for performing accounting and financial reporting for the Real Estate Investments Group's portfolio of assets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards and regulations.
- Conduct analysis and reconciliation of various accounts and prepare financial statements for internal and external reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to gather necessary information and provide support for various financial and accounting projects.
- Monitor and track financial performance of real estate investments, including analyzing income and expenses, and identifying potential risks and opportunities.
- Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts for the Real Estate Investments Group.
- Perform monthly and quarterly close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of all financial transactions related to real estate investments, including property acquisitions, dispositions, and financing.
- Stay informed of current accounting standards and regulations related to real estate investments and ensure compliance in all financial reporting.
- Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and auditors.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new processes and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting.
- Support the Real Estate Investments Group in special projects and initiatives as needed.
- Uphold the company's values and maintain the highest level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions and tasks.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Real Estate Accounting, Preferably In A Fund Or Asset Management Environment.
Knowledge Of Gaap, Sec Reporting Requirements, And Real Estate Accounting Principles.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With Attention To Detail And Accuracy.
Familiarity With Real Estate Investment Software Such As Yardi, Mri, Or Argus.
