  1. Responsible for performing accounting and financial reporting for the Real Estate Investments Group's portfolio of assets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards and regulations.
  2. Conduct analysis and reconciliation of various accounts and prepare financial statements for internal and external reporting purposes.
  3. Collaborate with other team members and departments to gather necessary information and provide support for various financial and accounting projects.
  4. Monitor and track financial performance of real estate investments, including analyzing income and expenses, and identifying potential risks and opportunities.
  5. Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts for the Real Estate Investments Group.
  6. Perform monthly and quarterly close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
  7. Ensure timely and accurate processing of all financial transactions related to real estate investments, including property acquisitions, dispositions, and financing.
  8. Stay informed of current accounting standards and regulations related to real estate investments and ensure compliance in all financial reporting.
  9. Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and auditors.
  10. Participate in the development and implementation of new processes and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting.
  11. Support the Real Estate Investments Group in special projects and initiatives as needed.
  12. Uphold the company's values and maintain the highest level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions and tasks.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Real Estate Accounting, Preferably In A Fund Or Asset Management Environment.

  • Knowledge Of Gaap, Sec Reporting Requirements, And Real Estate Accounting Principles.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With Attention To Detail And Accuracy.

  • Familiarity With Real Estate Investment Software Such As Yardi, Mri, Or Argus.
