- Lead and manage a team of developers to provide production support for our critical business applications.
- Oversee the daily operations of the production support team and ensure timely and effective resolution of any issues.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures for production support, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor and track production support tickets, prioritizing and assigning tasks to team members accordingly.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members to improve their skills and productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development and testing teams, to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Identify areas for improvement in the production support process and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Ensure compliance with established security and data protection policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business partners and customers, to understand their needs and address any concerns.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology to continuously improve production support processes and systems.
- Provide regular reports and updates on production support metrics and performance to management.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and a customer-centric mindset within the production support team.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Production Support And Development, Preferably In The Insurance Or Financial Services Industry.
Proven Experience Managing A Team Of Developers And Technical Support Professionals.
Strong Technical Skills In Programming Languages Such As Java, C++, Or C# And Experience With Database Management Systems.
Excellent Problem-Solving And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams To Identify And Resolve Technical Issues.
